| Just a note to express my gratitude to you and the DCK team for assisting my parents in their sale of their 9 Barkly Street home to relocate to Melbourne. As you know, this was a very emotive decision for my parents who met, married & retired in Bendigo marking the end f a continuous family association with Bendigo dating back to the late 1800's. Neverthess, Betty and Max having now comfortably settled into their unit only a few streets away agree that it was the right decision whilst still fit enough to make the move, not to mention the benefit of now enjoying regular contact with their 3 year old grandson.
Quite frankly, I do not know how we would have got through this process without you and the DCK team, as we originally anticipated that a straight forward sale would be stressful enough for all concerned. Not only did you end up selling the house twice when the first sale fell through, assisting in the unforseen complication of the title boundary/fence anomaly, selling the caravan and even evicting a squatting possum after vacating, you still managed to fulfill our optimistic sale expectations within the tight deadline to align with settlement on the Melbourne property. Not being able to get up to Bendigo very often during this process, it was of great comfort to know that my parents were being so professionally and attentively looked after by you and the DCK team. A special thanks also to Dale Boyd who was just as attentive and helpful during your week of annual leave.
There is a Real Estate slogan I once saw stating that "they sell your house as if it was their own". You went one better by looking after my parents as if they were your own and for this I am truly thankful.
Although the family's long association with Bendigo has now ended, I would without hesitation recommend DCK to anyone considering selling or purchasing in the area.
Yours sincerely,
Chris
