Born and raised in Bendigo, Makayla started her career in real estate with DCK as a casual in 2003, before jumping at an opportunity to take on a full time reception position. From there she quickly progressed to Assistant Property Manager before securing a Property Manager’s role in July 2007 .
Having worked as a Senior Property Manager for a number of years, Makayla joined DCK's Management Team in 2017 as Department Manager, leading and supporting our Property Management team while overseeing department operations. On 1 July 2019, Makayla became a DCK Shareholder and Associate.

I have been very fortunate to have built many great relationships with both tenants and landlords over my time working in the industry. Personal success for me is receiving positive feedback and repeat and referral business. If our clients are happy, then we're doing our job well and I enjoy a great sense of achievement from knowing this.
I love the dynamic nature of the real estate industry. Being a super organized person I try to ensure I’m always ready to deal with the unpredictable and sometimes challenging nature of property management work. Helping people makes for an exciting career!

Dear Makayla,I just wanted to (very belatedly) drop you a quick note to thank you for the amazing service and assistance you provided us. We were extremely despondent with the service provided by other real estate agents in the area but found your care and attention to our enquiries to be second to none. You both listened to what it was that we were looking for in a new home, understood the importance of finding the right property for our family and took the time to discuss our questions and concerns.Ultimately we have found a home with another agent.Please pass on our thanks to the landlords. Whilst we both fell in love with the property, we felt that given we are relocating to the country from Melbourne, it was just that bit too far from town.
