When we moved to another city, we rented out our Bendigo home through DCK Real Estate because of their reputation in town. They managed our property with great care and attention to detail. Based on that experience, when it was time to sell, going with DCK as our sales agency was a natural step. Even so, we were overwhelmed by the hard work and care in very difficult circumstances that our agent, Yvette Homewood, put into the sale of our home. We put the house on the market just before regional Victoria entered a COVID lockdown, which made it very difficult to arrange repairs following the departure of our former renters - repairs that only became apparent once the tenants had moved out because they had concealed the damage. Yvette connected us with local tradespeople and oversaw the work on our behalf and then, when restrictions allowed, opened our home for private inspections. This is where Yvette's superb marketing skills came into play. Despite very limited opportunities to display our home to buyers, we had a fabulous offer on the table in less than two weeks and achieved slightly more than we had hoped from the sale. Again, Yvette was an absolute gem in the post-offer process, seeing us through to a very quick settlement with great communication and attention to detail given that we were hundreds of kilometres away, unable to travel to Bendigo and had to trust in her skills and abilities to dot the Is, cross the Ts and deliver the property to our buyers ensuring all our contract obligations were met. I would not hesitate to recommend Yvette to anyone considering selling a property anywhere in the Bendigo region. Her professionalism with a personal touch was so refreshing.
