Kris Walden-DickieProperty Manager
A TASTE for travel after his Mildura school days shot Kris Walden-Dickie from small country lad, to fine dining chef at Tabou Restaurant in Sydney.
Kris worked hard so that he could finance more travel and soon took off along the eastern seaboard of Oz.
Today the trip from Epsom to the Bendigo CBD is more this father of four’s pace; having swapped the glitz of international cities for the calm and quiet of Bendigo.
Kris is married to Hayley who has also joined DCK and the real estate world.
Together they share juggling work and family commitments; and the running around after their four children to their respective activities.
“At the minute our two sons are lion dancers with the Bendigo Chinese Association and our daughters enjoy their regular dance classes too. Between the 4 of them they keep us very busy,” Kris adds.
After completing his real estate course in Melbourne, Kris kick-started his property career in sales.
“I have a long-term plan for my real estate career. First off though, I have to resist wanting to buy nearly every house I appraise. There are so many incredible homes in Bendigo, rich with historic value.”
Kris sees real estate from a Property Management angle now and admits the people he meets make it his dream job.
He could not imagine doing anything else!
